Mozzarella Salad


Makes: 4 servings

  • 1 ball (approx 16 ounces) Fresh mozzarella, sliced

  • 1 container (approx 8 ounces) Small mozzarella balls (bocconcini)

  • 1 container yellow cherry or grape tomatoes, halved

  • 1 yellow sweet pepper, sliced

  • Fresh basil, torn


  • ¼ cup lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste




On a platter arrange slices of fresh mozzarella; small mozzarella balls (bocconcini); yellow cherry or grape tomatoes, halved; sliced yellow sweet pepper; and torn fresh basil.

To make the vinaigrette, in a small bowl whisk together lemon juice, extra-virgin olive oil, and salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Drizzle over salad. Season with additional salt and pepper, if desired.
