Christmas Wassail (spiced mulled wine)

INGREDIENTS

  • cheesecloth

  • 1 cinnamon stick broken up

  • 12 cloves

  • 6 cups water

  • 3 cans frozen juice concentrate 12 ounces each, cranberry, raspberry, and apple

  • 1 cup brandy

  • 1/3 cup lemon juice

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • cinnamon sticks garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a cheesecloth, place the broken-up sinnamon stick and cloves. Tie shut with string.

  2. In a slow cooker, combine the water, juice concentrate, brandy, lemon juice, and sugar. Add the spice bag and cook on low for 4-6 hours.

  3. Remove spice bag, ladle into glasses, and garnish with cinnamon sticks.
