White Chocolate Jingle Bells
1 all-butter loaf cake 11 ounces
1/4 cup vanilla frosting
2 teaspoons Holiday sprinkles plus more for garnish
2 cups white chocolate chips
2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
Trim crust from loaf cake. Crumble cake with your fingers into a large bowl. Stir in frosting and blend with your fingers until evenly moist. Stir in sprinkles. Press cake into 1-inch balls and roll gently in your hands until smooth and round.
In a bowl, microwave chips and shortening on high (100%) in 20-second increments, stirring after each, until melted. Do not overheat.
Dip cake balls into melted white chocolate. Lift coated balls with a fork and tap fork on the side of the bowl to ensure a smooth and even coating. Drag fork across edge of bowl to remove excess chocolate. Set dipped cakes on wax paper and top with more sprinkles. Chill for 15 minutes in refrigerator to set chocolate.
