PEPPERMINT HOT CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES
Stir two teaspoons peppermint extract into your favorite chocolate cupcake batter before baking in seasonal red papers. Cool completely. Mound whipped topping on each cupcake, then embellish with chocolate chips and a few mini marshmallows. Cut small candy canes in half and press the crooks into the sides of cupcakes to form a mug handle. Crush candy cane trimmings in a zip-top bag and sprinkle on top.
