Combine 1 bottle (750 ml) rosé wine, 1⁄4 cup sugar, 1 cinnamon stick, 3 peppercorns, 4 whole cloves, and 3 strips orange zest (1 inch wide) in a saucepan. Heat to a slow boil and let gently simmer 10 minutes. Cover and cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until well chilled. Serve in glasses garnished with champagne grapes. Makes 4 drinks.
