Pomegranate Martini

INGREDIENTS

  • Ice

  • 3/4 cup citrus vodka Smirnoff®

  • 1/2 cup fresh unsweetened pomegranate juice Pom®

  • 1/4 cup bar syrup* Collins®

  • Garnish: lemon slices

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes. Add vodka, juice, and syrup. Shake with ice, and strain into martini glasses. Garnish with lemon slices, if desired.

RECIPE NOTES

Note: 1⁄4 cup Simple Syrup may be substituted. Simple Syrup (makes about 11⁄2 cups): In a large heavy saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Boil for 5 to 7 minutes, or until sugar dissolves and mixture reduces slightly. Let cool for 1 hour to room temperature. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks
