Grilled Cheese and Pesto

  •     8     slices cheddar cheese, Kraft®

  •     8     slices country potato bread, Oroweat®

  •     4     tablespoons refrigerated pesto sauce, Buitoni®

  •     8     slices sliced Swiss cheese, Sargento®

  •         Butter, softened

 

Directions

 

Make a sandwich by laying 2 of the cheddar cheese slices on a slice of the potato bread. Top with 1 tablespoon of the pesto, 2 of the Swiss cheese slices, and another slice of potato bread. Repeat with remaining ingredients to make 4 sandwiches.

Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium to medium-low heat. Spread butter on one side of all sandwiches and place two sandwiches in skillet, butter sides down. Spread butter on the other sides of sandwiches once in pan. Cook about 6 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is golden, turning once. Repeat with remaining sandwiches. Serve immediately.
