Makes 4 servings
2 1⁄2 pounds chicken drumettes
1 tablespoon Montreal steak seasoning
3⁄4 cup jalapeño jelly, melted and cooled
1⁄2 cup Heinz® chili sauce
2 tablespoons Tex-Mex chili seasoning
3 tablespoons diced jalapeños
1. Position rack 6 inches from heat and preheat broiler. Line a heavy-duty baking sheet with foil.
2. Season drumettes with steak seasoning and place on baking sheet. Broil for 8 to 10 minutes, turning once.
3. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk together jalapeño jelly, chili sauce, chili seasoning, and jalapeños.
4. Using tongs, add several drumettes at a time to bowl of sauce and turn
to coat. Place drumettes in a 4 to 5 quart slow cooker. Pour remaining sauce over drumettes. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 1⁄2 to 3 1⁄2 hours.
