Makes: 1 loaf
Cook: 50 minutes
  •   Nonstick cooking spray

  •   Flour, for dusting

  •  3/4  cup stout beer, Guinness® 

  •  1  teaspoon vanilla extract, McCormick® 

  •  1  box (16-ounce) pound cake mix, Betty Crocker® 

  •  2  large eggs


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray 9×5×3-inch loaf pan with cooking spray and dust with flour. In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together stout beer, vanilla extract, cake mix, and eggs until smooth. Pour into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 50 to       55 minutes or until tester comes out clean.

  2. Cool for 10 minutes in pan, then transfer to wire cooling rack to cool completely. Serve sliced pound cake with a scoop of Pub Crawler’s Ice Cream (see below) or dulce de leche ice cream.
