Makes: 10 servings
Cook: 13 minutes
  • 10 (1-ounce) processed American cheese slices

  • 3 pounds ground chuck

  • 1 (1.0-ounce) envelope ranch salad dressing and seasoning mix, Hidden Valley Ranch®

  • 1 tablespoon ketchup

  • 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper

  • 10 hamburger buns, split

  1. Spray grill rack with nonstick nonflammable cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (350° to 400°). Using a paring knife, cut eyes, nose, and mouth shapes out of each slice to create a jack-o’-lantern.

  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ranch seasoning mix, ketchup, and pepper; mix well. Using hands, shape into 10 patties. Grill, covered with grill lid, for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until desired degree of doneness. Carefully place prepared cheese slices on burgers; grill, covered with grill lid, for 1 to 2 minutes, or until cheese is slightly melted. Serve on buns with desired toppings.
