Wheatgrass and Lavender

Pale purple is the foundation for this fresh and simple tablescape. A basic tablecloth and white napkins highlight the vivid green accents found in wheatgrass and gladiolus stems. Once-brown square chargers were transformed with a few coats of lavender spray paint, bringing out their basket-weave texture. A tall bouquet vase is “planted” in the center of a short, shallow vase. A length of lavender ribbon circles the base of the short container (doublesided transparent tape secures the ribbon), while wheatgrass blades and pure white eggs are tucked in around the taller vase. White gladiolus finish the centerpiece.
