Crumbling Slice

Decorate a batch of sugar cookies to resemble fruit: For oranges, stir 1⁄2 cup heavy cream into 2 cups powdered sugar to create a glaze then add 1⁄4 teaspoon orange extract and a few drops of yellow and red food coloring. Dip outside edge of each cookie into glaze, then into orange decorating sugar. Let harden. Using a tube of decorating icing, pipe segments onto cookies. Prefer limes? Repeat using lime extract and green food coloring.
