Garden Brunch
I love spending warm days gardening in my backyard. It is so satisfying to see your hard work pay off as the seeds you planted bloom, flourishing right before your eyes. Flowers always brighten up a room with their color and surround you with a subtle floral scent, setting the mood to enjoy a fresh and delicious meal. With pretty pinks and lively greens, this garden tablescape is great for a bridal shower, special brunch or birthday party.
Accent Pieces
Liven up the table with fresh pink flowers and greenery arranged in simple, clear vases. Line pink and green candle holders with simple white tea light candles in the middle of your table for an extra glowing touch.
Place Settings: Mix and match by stacking pink, green and floral plates to be used for each course on top of a green placemat. I found a placemat that looks like a leaf! Lay utensils on top of two napkins, a pink and green folded over each other.
Centerpiece
A beautiful trifle, made with crushed meringue cookies, mint cream and raspberries takes center stage on top of a fun, polka dot and striped tablecloth.
Favors
Place Cards: Decorate a pink envelope with lime green decals for each guest. To keep it sweet and simple, use only the first letter of each guest's name to personalize the envelope. You can find these at your local craft store. Place a packet of seeds for guests to plant inside the envelope.
Food and Drinks
A light and refreshing menu is perfect for a garden party. Start the meal with Caprese Salad Bites and Broccoli Pie with Cherry Tomatoes and Sour Cream, and then serve my Herb Roasted Cornish Game Hens for the entrée. End the meal with my sweet Blushing Strawberry Cupcakes and clink glasses with my Pretty Pink Lemonade.
