Gingerbread Snowflakes

Makes: 16 cookies
Cook: 8 minutes per batch
  • 1  box (14.5-ounce) gingerbread mix, Betty Crocker®

  • 1⁄4  cup butter, melted

  • 1  egg

  • 1⁄4  cup all-purpose flour, if needed 

  • Tubes of white decorating frosting 

  • Large crystal decorating sugar


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly butter a cookie sheet. In bowl of electric mixer, combine gingerbread mix, melted butter, and egg until dough is smooth. If dough is too soft, add up to 1⁄4 cup flour.

Roll out dough to 1⁄4- to 1⁄2-inch thickness. Cut dough with a snowflake- or star-shape cookie cutter. Place cookies 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes or until set.

Cool completely on cooling rack. Decorate with tubes of white frosting and dust with crystal sugar.
